Track pin seal

Track pin seal

The basic SKF Trackstar seal design uses polyurethane sealing ring and nitrile rubber elastomer. It is used to seal the oil between the pin and the shaft sleeve and remove pollutants. Elastomers provide static sealing capability. Ribs on the inside diameter of the seal allow oil to pass through to provide the necessary lubrication.
This is a heavy-duty design with metal reinforcing ring, which is formed with polyurethane sealing ring to provide greater strength under severe working conditions.
Both SKF Trackstar seals are mounted on isolation rings provided by the chassis manufacturer. The function of the spacer ring is to ensure the required space for the seal when squeezed between the link part and the shaft sleeve. The design of the oil separator ring can seal the oil through the oil separator groove.
SKF Trackstar provides several important advantages, including: extending the service life of chassis frame, reducing the wear of inner bushing and pin, simple installation, and interchangeable with track pin seals with the most commonly used sealing and lubrication functions.
