Crossed roller thrust bearing

Crossed roller thrust bearing

Timken's cross roller bearing (TXR) is designed to provide rotational accuracy and stiffness in a small space and save material costs. It is applicable to TXR type machine tools and vertical grinding machines. They are also particularly suitable for many applications where space is limited or where the pivot and base of the low possible center of gravity of rotating matter are required.
Size range: 457.2 mm to 1549.4 mm (8 in. To 61 in.)
Design characteristics
TXR type has two rows of rollers coexisting in one space, and its cross part only occupies a small space, which reduces the material of bearing housing, reduces the machining requirements and saves the cost.
The linear contact between raceway and roller structure provides large rotation accuracy, high stability and greater tilt stiffness.
It increases the stiffness of the bearing and provides a minimum runout within the design * *.
The design facilitates lubricant filling and contaminant intrusion.
Nylon spacer has low inertia and low running torque.
The parts are made of carburized steel on the surface, with rough core, impact resistance and hard surface.
Applications: precision rotary indexing table for machine tools, vertical and horizontal boring machines, vertical grinder, rotary surface grinder, large gear hobbing machine, gun and radar turret, large radio and optical telescope, rotating camera, steering pivot and continuous casting machine, pivot with limited height, microscope table, rod center support shaft, rotating bogie, welding support, mooring buoy of large oil tanker Rotary assembly fixture, industrial robot, etc.
